Still get cant online.

All right a few nights ago I loaded up Medieval Total War and The Viking Invasion. I went to go play online and it said my name was already in use.

I was told to re register with gamespy so I did. MiniKiller is registered under my name so I figured all is well.

I tried again, same damn thing. It keeps saying this name is already in use...it is but by me I know I have the right password becasue when I type it in wrong (on purpose to see gamespy's responce) it says invalid password.

What are my options. I really want to get back online

I had the same problem as you MiniKiller.
All I wanted to do was inform GameSpy that I had changed to a new ISP when I had Broadband connected, so wanted to change my email address and keep my nickname, that I had been using for a year.
After 7....yes...7 emails to them and a reply by a different person each time I got nowhere. They kept on about paying for the privilage of having an unique nickname.
There is a way for you to get online....same as I did (I added a...I..to the end of my name)
Could I suggest you re-register adding an s to your name making it MiniKillers...for example. Seems like it's the only option to get back online.
I am known as MizuJochiKhan but had to change to MizuJochiKhanI to get back.
It's a nuisance I know but hope this will help you.

I had the same problem...

However I noticed that gamespy does not check whether the given email addy is an active one or not... As such I quickly started to re-use my old gamespy account again, the one which uses my old and no longer active email addy... It works fine, especially since I cannot receive any spam from them http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
