Is there anyway to mod MTW to be able to play as the golden horde

You can change the Golden Horde from a Minor Faction to Major Faction in the Late Era folder. This will make the GH playable in the late era. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

go to program files/total war/medieval/campmap/startpos/click the book that says late.

scrool down change golden horde from minor to major save changes word pad [auto asks this anyway] and there you have it load up game an mongols are playable. hope this helps http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
