Hmmmm, try marrying off some of those princesses to your generals. If I'm correct this will link them to the Imperial family and give them a shot at the throne. Beware of the potential for Civil War though, but anything is better than Game Over, I suppose. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Hi http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
Thats a real awful problem, and probably the only feature of the game on which you cant exercise any control at all. Is your king married? If not, I would suggest training lots of emissisaries (as I think if your princesses are married, but your king isnt, then the empire is lost). Send your emissiaries abroad to seek for princesses of other factions (by emissiaries). As far as I understood from your post, your emperor is new and lacking some authority and influence, which decreases the likelihood of marriage/treaty proposals to be accepted. If emissiaries cannot get an OK from the princesses, then start a campaign against the Egyptians and when you crush them, try again, as military conquests too, increase your influece.
If your king IS married already, then I would suggest waiting, as marrying your princesses to your generals may start a civil war when your king dies. Thats a big advantage of the Holy Roman Empire, as the ruling line is never interrupted.

I forgot to mention that my king IS married a long time ago since he was a prince.
The princesses that i have must be his sisters (i'm not very sure about it although).
Ufff, thats a tough situation. Waiting, is probably the optimum choice. I lost two empires because of no heirs. That is why, I always pick my favorite prince by sending other princes to impossible wars (assasination is too risky), when I think the king is about to die.
Dont take my word for it though, there may be someone else who knows a solution for this. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cheers.gif

Last time I tried it, the marrying princesses to generals doesn't work, but it should if you think about it.
Your only course of action would be to hope that your king's wife will give birth to a son within the next 3 or 4 years, and then hope your king will live to his middle seventies.
Since he is married, you can type the cheatcode .unfreeze. at the campaign map and get a male heir on the next turn. After that you can only hope and pray. Good luck

Hmmmm, do you have any generals with royal blood (look for a crown next to their picture), like the Emperor's uncles or something? If so, the game may not end when your Emperor dies without an heir. Maybe you should marry off your daughters to them (incest alert http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif ) so they can start breeding babies while your Emperor lives out his remaining years.

Ah of course, royal blood generals work..but given the age of his king... it's unlikely that any of them are still alive. But if they are and they are married too, chances are they will have had offspring and you may have some more hope. Worth a try definitely

yeah the problem is that his king will probably be dead before 15 years. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif
Please enlighten us to this cheat code as I for one have the same problem in one of my games.

I gave it already in my earlier post. It's .unfreeze. type it complete with the dots on the campaign map. You should hear a sound confirming that it worked.
The problem is, you won't get a heir right rigth away, but you will get the message that your wfe has born a son on the next turn. Of course that son has to come of age first, so applying the cheat when your king is already in his late fifties is a gamble.

you could do .unfreeze. then save load move around you king so that he doesnt die and he could propably live up to see hes son..heh
Yeah, that cheat won't help me as my king keeps on dying within two turns of an illness no matter what I do with him.
