I got the idea for this the other night and thought it would be pretty cool, I don't have much modding experience(a few tweaks here or there), so embarking on a project like this is a bit daunting. I guess what I really want is a few other people who also like the idea to help me.
All assistance would be vastly appreciated.
Cheers

Welcome to the Org thrashaholic (great name BTW) http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
My memory fails me on the details, but another patron discussed making a Clans of Scotland mod which sounds similar to what you are proposing. Try seaching the Dungeon and the Entrance Hall forums and maybe your find it (or another).

Cheers for the info and the compliment Gregoshi http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif
I'll have a bit of a look round and see what I come up with.
Cheers again

OK this idea doesn't seem to be catching on so I'll elaborate on my idea slightly (I know it wasn't very well descirbed in the first place).
I envisaged using the vikings map to do a pre-roman britain mod with all (most) of the celtic tribes at the time, with a timescale of something like 450 to 100 BC (or whatever), maybe opening up gaul as a province if its possible. Of course new units, sheilds etc.(way out of my league) would be needed, along with everything else, so, once again http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif , I put out a plea to people interested in helping.
Cheers
