Funny Thing

Well i was playing the spanish and just had taken over control of the whole iberian, so i started retraning 3 stacks in aragon and when i was finished the english start a crusade and it wants to pass aragon which had a zeal of 89% hehe so i decided not to let them go through the province, funny thing my king was just 20 years old and i was a bit pissed then before the round ends i get the message that the pope died :D hehe nice coinsidence and i didnt get excommunicated..never happend before and i thought it was kinda funny.

so has it happend to you? :)

Not on the same turn like that. I've had only short excommunications before the Pope died, though.

I can't say that I have. I would get excommunicated even if someone attacked ME I always keep crucades from entring my territoris as they always take some of my army with them. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-veryangry.gif It sounds like you lucked out that time, Basileus.

I havn't played MTW in so long, almost two months. been to busy working on varius things. Though i can't say that anything of this sort ever happened, Hah but there was that one time as the Italians. Trained an assasin and he came out with three stars, so i started my war of Conquest against the HRE and France. But do you get excommunicated all the time if you refused a Crusade from passing through your lands. I cant remember exactly so sorry if its a stupid question.
