Aleksandr Nevsky

Hello, I've been playing Total War games for a long time now. I started with Shogun a few months after it came out. I think I posted once on the old forum back then, but I don't remember, it was under a different name if I did. I for sure visited and read the Org site and forum pretty regularly. Anyway recently, finally, got Viking Invasion, and am eagearly awaiting RTW, and felt like posting, so again hello, hope nobody else has chosen the great Aleksandr Nevsky as there name, the hero of the Rus.
Has anyone ever seen the 1930's movie Alexander Nevsky? It is a very good film. It is Russian, I forget who made the film...but it is very epic, I don't know about historically accurate, I suspect it was a bit of a propaganda piece. It deals with the Teutonic Knights crusade into Russia. The hero is a historical character, who sometime before defeated a Swedish army on the Lake Neva, there for his nickname Nevsky. Without getting too much more into the movie, Aleksandr Nevsky is called upon to unite the Russians against the Teutonic invaders...culminating in the final battle, which is a very epic affair, and quite a marvel considering when it was made. The Mongols are there too, but only visible in one scene in the start of the movie when a Mongol khan? (a lesser noble type/leader, not sure what to call him) makes an appearance demanding tribute...anyway it is a very good movie, and just felt like discussing it a bit if anyone has seen it.
