This is the reason, why there were no new unit descriptions quite for a long time on totalwar.com.

OK within the next few weeks I will remove the unit profiles completely. As mentioned these have gone through a review and as such may no longer reflect the game as well as they could.

However when I do take the old ones down I will start the new revised version which will be updated once a week. These should include new descriptions and a rotating 3D model of the unit in question. Should be a nice feature :b

I will try to get this up and running by early Feb at the latest.

Sounds very interesting By the way codex imperia is freshly updated.

Interesting reading. Hopefully they pay heed to our campaign for realistic Barbarian units. Thanks masp_82. Welcome to the Org BTW http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif .

No problem big king. We Total War fans are a big family and should not be seperated through the borders of a forum http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-happy2.gif

now its official. The statement is straight from the totalwar.com homepage

Rome: Total WarTM
Latest News: Shortly we will be updating the (Rome : Total War) unit and building profiles on this site. Rome: Total War is in development and this means that over time what we told you in the past may no longer be 100% accurate. So, the buildings and units profiles are being revamped. When we start these updates afresh the units will be accompanied by 3D models and building descriptions will, in future, include some of the variants for different factions and cultures in the game. Keep an eye on the site for the latest news as we will announce shortly when these new features will go live. Oh and remember to check the Res Romanae (on the left of this page) every day

Maybe shortly means already the next week *hoping*
