i'm using the latest patch of medieval, don't have VI yet. difficulty is hard
i've invaded hungary as denmark, but before the invasion i sent about a dozen spies to a province they conquered from the byz to give em somewhere else for their troops to be.
the byz got a nice stack of their good troops(byz inf, VG, prono, kats), but there was also a unit of chivalric foot knights. it was rather perplexing to me, but i managed to start another loyalist revolt the next turn.
this time they received several units of chivalric knights, and polearm troops(halbs iirc), along with some byz infantry.
is there some reason that byzantine loyalists include heavy catholic troops?
