Problem with a new unit !!! Help me please

Greetings,

I have created 3 new unit for my mod :

Scandinavian spearmen
Armored feudal sergents
Militia knights


I have used some pics from other mods for the first 2 units and the Dark Age Royal knights for the third.

The first unit works perfectly .... the second and the third give me problems. During the battle the unit icon (on the bottom of my screen) doesn't appear and I have a black square instead.

Could you help me please ?

I think that black box appears when MTW can't find the unit icon. Most probable reason is that you simply haven't named the icons correctly. They must have the exact same name as as the units name in unit_prod.txt

Unfortunately this is not the problem.I have check the name spelling and it is correct. The problem is that the game load correctly the immage on the recruiting pannel, and on the strategical map... but it show only a black square on the control pannel on the bottom of the screen during the tattical battle.

Any other ideas please ?

There are 2 types of unit icons, look at my Guide to Unit Graphics (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=5;t=9968) for more details.

In short you should have 2 icons, you're probably missing the one in battle\UnitIcons.
