See this thread (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=15;t=5047). Down the page just a bit, under 'Promotion to Senior Patron' it spells out the criteria for movin' up

From the New? Read this first topic referenced by motorhead (bolding and underlining for emphasis):

-----
Promotion to Senior Patron
There is no set number of posts or time limit for promotion to Senior Patron. Promotions are agreed upon by the Entrance Hall moderators...and require that you participate in discussions in the Entrance Hall. You need to post often enough so that we can see how you interact with others in the forum environment. Your posts need not be profound, intelligent, witty or even agreeable. They do need to be respectful of others, not profane and non-hostile. We can promotion a Junior Patron based on one well constructed, informative post or, more typically, at least four multi-sentence posts. Although not guaranteed, most promotions are made within a day of your participation in threads at the Entrance Hall. Unacceptable behaviour will, at best, delay a promotion.

Now, re-read your posts from your earlier visit:

Blind king of bohemia's mod, opinions (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=15;t=10739;hl=duke+dick)
and
Med Mod Opinions, Another Disapointment (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=15;t=10761;hl=duke+dick)

Constructive criticisms are welcome and helpful to modders, but, alas, you criticisms were not constructive and showed little or no respect for the efforts of others. Your comments appear to be made solely to belittle others rather than using your said modding knowledge to help them improve their mods.

Towards the end of the Med Mod topic, your link to your far more superior mod makes it appear as all this hubbub was an elaborate setup for a joke. That may well have been your intention from the start, and had it been handled differently, it could have been very funny. However, getting to the punchline involved hurt feelings, a blatant show of disrespect and roused anger. The joke simply wasn't worth the emotional price required from our patrons.

Why bring all this up? Because in order for you to get promoted you have a bad reputation to overcome. You have to show us that you are capable of interacting with our patrons in a civil and respectful manner. You will also have to demonstrate this over a longer period of time than a typical new patrons in order to convince us of your sincerity.

Having said that, all is not lost. With a little civility and patience, you can be promoted and become a fine addition to our little community here. That, however, is up to you.
