0 Unit Crusaders Stack

I have an Italian Crusader in my Province, with 0 units, no General, no troops, nothing. It does not even suck up troops from my province. Just sits there.

Anyone else have that ?

did you launch your crusade??? To launch it you have to drag the crusade marker over to the target province and then drop it there.

Really sounds to me like you just built the crusade but didnt launch it. If I am wrong then post some pics so that we can see it with our both eyes.

I forgot to say. I am HRE and it is an Italian Crusader Unit which lost its battle and retreated to my province empty.

Agree about it disbanding, it's odd, however it's been there for 5 years so far, hence my question.

Not terribly relevant with the thread but, is there any way to prevent crusaders passing through your provinces, from looting the countryside?

Well, by saying they can't cross. You'll have to fight them though.

You wont have to if your army is stronger than the crusader army, the crusaders will be too chicken to attack. on the other hand you will be excommed.

As for the original problem what happens if you restart and reload?

they only loot non-cathlic factions don't they
