Why am i getting crusades into eygpt

It seems to happen regular now that i get factions who dont crusade landing at my doorstep. The danes have been banging on antioch now for a couple of years how can this be i haven't modded it or anything but im using VI. I am eygpt late period i think the game is becomming self aware and will try to take over the world or something like terminator http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-help.gif

They could have just expanded really good. Unless of course you're saying they are crusading there. I've once seen the Danes that small province between africa and spain (forget the name) then proceed to systematically conquer africa and the middle east. This was in early, but I would imagine the same thing could happen late.

No I do mean actual crusades there destination is Antioch my Egyptian province. I havent a clue what is going on and no in single player I am unable to bulid them so something is wrong. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-confused.gif

Factions that cannot build crusades when controlled by the player can build them when controlled by the AI.

yes, they can also send as many crusades as they please unlike humans.

I've never ever seen that. And I've played a lot of campaigns. Look where they've built a chapter house, if the game is unmodded, there is no way even for the AI to build one. Then we would have to assume a bug when aquiring a province with a chapter house already being present, but it not being destroyed.
Perhaps it could happen when one faction inherits lands from another due to marriage claims.

Anyway, to get back on topic, I've never seen the Danes crusade, although I have seen the Hungarians do so (which of course we can't do if we're playing as them). As to the explanation why, I too had simply assumed that the AI could crusade with those factions even though we couldn't. Yes it's kind of annoying, but it doesn't bother me overly much.

My handle came about because of my interest in Irelands favorite sport Gaelic Football. It is played in Ireland a mixture of aussie rules, rugby and possibly soccer it can also be seen played where there is an irish influence ie boston, new york, oz. You often used to see people at games with straw hats shaped like cowboy hats especially from the west of Ireland. I used have to one myself actual i will reprhase that still do i look gas with my Iapanese headband I got in Tokyo at games tied around it. Unfortunately Mayo aint doing so well so my hat is under wraps for most of the year. But for the eternal sports optimist there is always next year and the chance of Croke Park in september for the final.
