What the hell???????????????????

The Shogun said at the community site about the Mongols thingy:
Quote
Europe - As an add-on pack, you will need Shogun Total War to play this.
North America - As a special edition (an expanded version of the game) and as an add on pack which will be available from EA.com.
Asia - As an add-on pack.
I gather it looks like an add-on... but I am still not quite sure about the Americans...

Jesus, can the Shogun be more clear or is it just me that thinks this is the most unclear news ever???????????

Honest guys I think I can do The Shogun's job much better on my spare time for God's sake!!!!!!, I am fed up with this guy.

Erado, you kow this individual better than me maybe... can you explain to me what his job is exactly because I can’t figure it out for the life of me. If it was me I would fire him right away. He is NOT aware of the community thoughts or he just plainly ignores us for God's sake. Do you think that he has visted the forums n the past 4 days????, I don’t think so.

Shogun do you read us??????, hello???, knock knock?????

Metha,

You all of a sudden lost it or what?

Europe - Only sold as an add-on. So you must have the game.
North America - Sold as a special edition (Game + Add-on) and also available as add-on only through EA.com
Asia - Only sold as add-on

Yes, I know Richie a hell of a lot better than you do. No, you can't do his job better than him. No, I won't explain what his job is exactly.

But this is the icing on the cake:

Quote He is NOT aware of the community thoughts or he just plainly ignores us for God's sake
By now I think he must be fed up with some of us. I can imagine that they (CA representatives) are getting more and more reluctant to post in this or any forum, because EVERY SINGLE TIME they post anything in this forum or on the community site they get flamed. They bring good news, then there's always someone who finds something he doesn't like and they get flamed. They bring bad news, they get flamed as well.

And in this case, they put up four simple, easy to read and understand lines about how the package is going to be made available and there are you, not understanding it immediately, and... well, lessee:

Quote 1 - What the hell???????????????????

2 - Jesus... this is the most unclear news ever??????

3 - I think I can do The Shogun's job much better on my spare time for God's sake!!!!!!, I am fed up with this guy.

4 - fire him right away

5 - He is NOT aware of the community thoughts or he just plainly ignores us for God's sake
Metha, your post regarding four simple lines must rank among the top ten most stupid posts I've seen so far. I do understand your critical look at things. Nothing wrong with that. Most of the times you make sense although I won't always agree with you. But this time you blew it.

Yeah,

I think I have to apologize after this one. Re reading it after I posted it now it sounds and is indeed too harsh. And although I am always critical yes I agree this time I crossed the line...

Where exactly in the top 10 by the way? http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

Here's a hint, Metha. All the posts in the Top Ten that were more stupid than that one have been deleted.

I understand criticism that concerns the issue at hand, such as what Obake posted in the other thread (although he went a bit overboard with his initial message as well). But attacking the Shôgun's character because the news update was "unclear", even after I had posted my own announcement that (IMO) pretty much settled what we know about this issue and what we do not, is... unacceptable.

So, your apology is accepted, Metha, but please don't anyone do this again. Count slowly to ten before posting, OK?

Discussion about the announcement (as opposed to its wording) should be continued in the "What the expansion pack really is" thread, or somewhere else. Thank you.
