Is there a cheat code to have sons?

My king is wus - he's had 8 or 9 daughters and NO sons? It's been awhile but I thought there was a cheat code to have sons? Is there - I really don't want a civil war at this time :(

.unfreeze. a son will be born the year after you enter it & it will take 16 years before he appears on the map.

Thanks a million. My king just died - but strangely, there wasn't a civil war, my kingdom dissolved into factions and the game was over. I don't remember it being that way, but it's been awhile since I last played the game. Again, thanks.

Yeah its game over if your faction dies out only if you are the HRE can you continue on when your king dies without heirs. Another way around it is to instigate a civil war but takes a lot of preparation or a lot of luck.
Btw what version are you playing with?

I think that if you run out of male heirs, the Princess' could be made soveriegn. They could be listed as the unit leader for their body guards, but they would have a "Head of the Guard" or something that would technically fight... or something.

OR, I wish they made it possible to name heirs, even if you have sons. If you name a great General as heir, and you have a son, it could start a neat little civil war when your King dies.
