I haven't visited the dungeon for awhile but I remember a while there was some heated debate as to how to make a comepletly new faction playable.

Try a mod made by Blind King of Bohemia, he has added as many factions as possible:

You can DL this mod from the ORG, and IIRC he is about to release a complete version shortly.
