Heya guys/gals,

I dont know how many of you read the Res Romanae every day over at the Totalwar.com, but I know that there are quite a few juicy tidbits of info in there (the rest is just a collection of roman orgies....errrr...holidays http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif ). So I decided to read every one of the Res Romanae tidbits and select the ones relevant to the game and compile it in a very easy to read format, so that you won't have to go over 60 different snippets.....

Some of this info is old but some of it is very intriguing. Here goes...

PS The information is compiled up until Jan 23.

I didn't know they were sneaking these bits in.

Very very sneaky CA.

I agree, very sneaky of them. I have seen a warning somewhere either on .COM or in some thread by the CA representative that we should pay attention to Res Romanae EVERYDAY, and I remember that everyday was highlighted in some sense (it stood out when you looked at a sentence).

So now my early morning routine will be...cofee + Res Romanae LOL.

Cheers,
Rev

i like the bit where it says you can play on after the official ending of RTW.

that always annoyed me in MTW/STW.

Glad your enjoying it. I suppose I'd better write a few more sneaky snippets to fill in the calendar for the next month or so... in between the dates to remember, of course. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Ok, here is the new tidbit of info from the Res Romanae:

Quote[/b] ]26th January: The diplomacy system in Rome: Total War will let you make more than just simple treaties with other factions. You can have trade agreements, military access, and even demand tributes in return for not attacking

YES, I like the sound of that. Major improvement of the dimplomatic system is one of the things I was looking forward to in RTW.

Hehehe, so you are the one responsible for the hours I've wasted patiently waiting for the Res Romanae update LOL http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-jester.gif

Well, its good to know that the info will keep being posted, and it is juicy thats for sure. As long as Res Romanae is up I will be checking it.
