Kensai Killer ? [Archive]

I was curious to know which single unit is most effective against the Sword Saints. In the little "testing" that I've done I have found the ND to be most effective. Testing was done in castles with Kensai on the attack so calvary units couldn't keep on running away. I haven't been around for a bit so if this has been discussed a pointer thread will do...

Agreed, for the same koku, a unit of BN will dispatch the Kensai most of the time.

Guns are very effective too.

Otherwise, just keep running him over with cavalry, or tire him out with YS.

i fought an enemy taisho who was kensai with my kensai, after a bit i charged ninja into him, a split second latter i was hearing victory music.

my way of disposing kensais is a heavy cavalry charge in the rear!!
