View Full Version : Your favourite sweets

I performed a quick search on the forums and there wasn't any topics made lately.

So, what's your favourite and unbeaten sweet? Something from the courner-shop or self-made toffee perhaps? Or perhaps you're a real man (without teeth that is) and prefer coffee and only coffee (with a few more elegant drinks).

While some of you might belong in the *sigh* Real Man ™ *sigh* category I myself do not, being an almost fanatic PEZ worshiper for ages. There were times when I swore only in the name of Laquorice but thank the Creator those pathetic caveman times are over and out now. Just gotta love those tiny little pellets (rabbit food my friends used to call them) which you can just either suck all the taste from them or crumble them swiftly.

Another strange habit of mine is to prefer ol' good Mineral Water (Vichy aka Soda water) instead of old familiar sugar liquids like Coke, Fanta, Sprite et cetera.

God Bless P.E.Z (http://pez.com/)

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are my favourite. Chocolate and peanut butter belong together. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-love.gif

I grew up in Hershey Pennsylvania: the Hershey chocolate factory at one end of town and the Reeses plant at the other end. There were days when the smell of chocolate filled the air in the town... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-cool4.gif

Skittles for me. I like M+Ms very much, but I eat them too fast and they're not that good for you. Grape is always best.

Sometimes I will go into a Lemon or Cinnamon hunger phase that will end after about a week with my mouth completely coated with the resido of artificial coloring and burnt-out taste buds. It is glorious while it lasts.

Whenever people from my office go abroad they bring back a bag of the local sweets. The best we've ever had have been some really small fruit sweets from Hugary I think. Just one turned your head into a fruity explosion.

The worst have to be the salted damsons from Japan.

Mmmm, pear drops.

Well I dont eat that much sweet stuff, but one thing I do drool for and await with overeager anticipation is when my Mom makes Eskimo cake. LOL And before any of you start making fun of this, no I am NOT an eskimo - its just the name of the cake. It has a LOT of very very tasty icing and simply doesnt last more than a few hours (when I am around) http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-jester.gif

*makes Homer Simpson expression*
Mmmmmmmm.......Eskimo cake....
*drools all over the couch*

my favorite sweet would have to be donuts of course. But my all-time favorite snack would fall into the realm of chips, doritos to be more precise. I usualy have a bag of em' next to my computer, w\ a pop to wash down the cheesey goodness. Although I am lacking my bag of doritos right now though...

You know what really makes it confusing *Ringo*? In the US, Kit Kat is a Hershey product. There are a few candies like that - Hershey makes it in the US and Nestles makes it elsewhere. That could really mess with your brand loyalty if you happen to like the wrong candy and travel internationally alot. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-anxious.gif
