I'm unclear how the Master Swordsmith/Bowyer/Spearmaker/Horse breeder work.
That is, it seems to me that a unit will get only 1 valour upgrade from buildings, regardless. Right? Thus, the highest starting value for a unit is 2: 1 from a province bonus, plus 1 from a building bonus.
What I'm curious about, though, is exactly how I determine which building type will give me a bonus for specific units. The most complex are the axe-wielding units as there is no master axe-smith.
Chiv and Feudal men-at-arms, easy enough: master swordsmith.
But, say Gazi infantry, or halberdiers; will they also be affected by a master swordsmith?
Are there any circumstances in which you need TWO master-level facilities to get a 1-point valuor bonus? More than two buildings?
Is there any way to start a unit with valour 3 or more with any combination of buildings.
And on a related note: The Morale bonuses from religious facilities... does anyone know if the morale of a specific uinit is displayed anywhere? The unit write-up inly seems to list the default value.
