Trouble installing Shogun Total War

ive been playin medieval total war for a few months and after reading posts on here i decided to pick up Shogun for a fiver.

My problem, during installation it crashes while copying intro.mpg

Anyone got any ideas? ive got windows xp and a computer that can easily handle it.

Can you give it a try on another CD drive? Either on your on another PC? That will help determine if it is the drive or the disk that is the problem. If the disk is bad, you should be able to return it to the store for an exchange.
