Anybody wants to make a Ottoman historical camp.?

Due to my apparent inability and ignorance on modding and stuff, I hereby offer my service as fact provider to anybody who has the time-willingness-interest to make an Ottoman Balkan expansion period mod. The mod will not include Ottoman-Byzantine wars (dont know the details of Byzantine history) but only the Balkan wars. But who knows, if this works nice, we can collectively work on that as well with Byzantium experts.

I would help you, but all the time I have available for MTW is to complete my MOD and the reworked Historical Battles that I announced in the Entrance Hall.

Hey Cebei, I'm thinking we could have a campaign map of Asia Minor, we can combine our knowledge for a "frontier" war of attrition or seomthing.

You could have as possible factions

a) Seljuks
b) Osmanis (Ottomans)
c) Karamans
d) Germiyan
e) Knights Hospitallers
f) GEnoans
g) Venetians
h) Trapezuntines
i) Mamluks
j) Armenians
k) Catalan mercenaries
l) Kingdom of Cyprus

Just a suggestion.................

IMAGINE a map of Asia Minor with a part of Eastern Europe (Thrace, Bulgaria) and the Greek islands plus Cyrpus.

Actually I was hesitant to suggest a whole mod like this; just a historical campaign to get things started, but it seems that you are really keen on this and the period in your mind is truly a wonderful time. (not for the Anatolians, for us the players)

As the Ottomans managed to conquer all of the Asia Minor by 15th century, this mod will probably comprise 1300-late 1400s.

Did you already start the mod, or waiting? Are we going to include new units etc.?

I'll be honest, I don't everything about modding.

I can create new units and stuff with text files and artwork, did I mention artwork? Just enuff to contribute.

But u'll really really really need an expert on modding on this........................

I have done a basic mod called the Ottoman Invasion with Komminos greek map with the Byzantines, Ottomans, Despot of Morea, Despot of Epirus, Duke of Athens, Bosnians, Bulgarians, Serbians wallachians, Moldavians, Hospitallers, and the Genoese and venetians holding a few areas here and there.
