On the other hand, it should be good for the national debt...I was playing a Chinese language Civ clone the other day where one of the choices you can make for your nation is to legalise prostitution. This lets you build (I'm not joking) the 'Brothel' building, which boosts the economy but encourages a rise in crime...and in the birth rate ^_^
