View Full Version : A brief enquiry...
Firstly, hello everyone, my first post here. Looks rather cool so far.
Secondly, I am a memeber of a few other game communities, and most of the ones I am a memeber of, have a section dedicated to fan fiction about said game(s). The query being, is there a similar area of this forum? Or is writting not the going thing here?
Thanks for any help,
Anselm

Hi Anselm, welcome to the org http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
I think the area you're looking for is the Mead hall in the Story/PBM section.
Hope I've been of help,
Thrashaholic
Thanks alot. I'm still junior patron though, I think it said that I can't post in there.
Ah well, patience it is http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/handball.gif

Junior patrons are supposed to be able to post in the Mead Hall...I think, if I remember correctly. Try it and see.
Hello Anselm,
Welcome to the forums. Junior Patrons can reply to excisting topics in the Mead Hall, as well as The Apothecary and The Dungeon.

Anselm, while in the Mead Hall have one on me, http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cheers.gif
Your hospitality is duly noted, and your offered mead deffinetly accepted. I take it I cannot start topics in the mead hall then, and only reply?
Many thanks,
Anselm

Hello again Anselm. You are correct: you can only reply, but not start your own topics. You can start your own topics as soon as you are promoted to senior patron, which happens usually after one or two weeks, if you keep participating in the discussions (participating, not just posting).
You can also find some good stories in the Throne Room (also in the Story/PBM forum), where the past en present Play-by-E-mail campaigns (PBM) are recorded. Especially the ongoing Kings of France PBM makes a very good read.
Thaks a lot. V. helpful.
I look forward to being able to write here soon.
Anselm
Whine enough, joke enough, dick up old dirt and be annoying in a global way. A succesful route to become a senior patron.
(Or, you can just get stuck in the Senior Patron degree like me)
Welcome to the Org Anselm http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
(Am I allowed to say that?)

Late to the party as always, but i've never been one to deny a new patron free drink. Let's get some Mead and Ale over here, and if they prefer i'm sure we can find some whine http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cheers.gif
Welcome to the Org Anselm may you have a pleasant stay
