Crazy Duke

I read many topics about the game for last two years, but decide to start posting now. It?s never late.
I don?t see this kind of description, but if it?s exist, sorry for kind of replying.
Usually (80%) my governor title goes to peasant or urban militia. They are not too costly and their support is small. So that gives me more province income.
When giving the title most important thing is acumen. But watch out The highest acumen is not the best as I thought at my first moves in game. The best acumen is when guy has them 2 or 3. When you point the mouse on the acumen, you can see the text below about that unit. With 2 and 3 you will noticed that he?s the best or adequate candidate for official. When giving him a title, you can see the income rise up immediately for 100, 200 or more florins, depending on the province, and loyalty goes up for few %.
If you give the title to the unit with 1 or 4 acumen, loyalty will go down for couple of % and may rise some florins, not much as I describe above. You will see that economy will not suffer but will not proper either.
If you have lucky to get the acumen which describing is the best economical or something similar, that?s the best person. It depends of the province development. So mostly my governor came from my previous developed provinces.
Better wait to find the proper unit with adequate acumen, than later suffer with lot of bad vices and virtues and change the governor.
Usually I have high tax rate (always play on expert), until the loyalty is 120%, with two unit per province (peasants or urban militia), have a priest, cardinal, inquisitor and spy at each one (of course when I have possibility to produce them).
If something accidentaly occur I always have one mobile unit to kick the rebelion. To be honest, it was on my first few campaigns until I catch up the AI and don?t have any bad surprising with reborn faction. I can?t express my horror with this at my first game??
