Fargo at gamespy.com is a big Total War fan.

He is an editorial comic stylist.

Here is a recent article he wrote on MTW:

I like the idea of a Pimpapult.

It is a short ranged weapon that is extremely effective against generals and faction leaders.

A general getting hit by the pimpapult causes his army's moral to be obliterated. Even more so than if he was killed in battle.

Any unit hit by the pimpapult looses all moral and quickly surrenders.

If a faction leader is bitch slapped by a pimpapult all loyalty gets cut in half.

Pimpapults gets a +1 valour bonus if you build them in any province that can also train Nubian Spearmen.

A limited but very effective weapon.

Yeah, I actually bought the game because of his earlier one about MTW, the pre-VI pack. He's got a useless strategy guide of being the Danes, including a picture of a Viking with such details as Schnozguard, Sweater, Pointy thing, and Horsestickers highlighted. I especially like the caption of the picture with someone kneeling in front of the pope, On your knees, biyotch

It's because of him and the gamespy Daily Victim that I learned to laugh silently at work.
