To prevent a derailing, let me announce that the mechanism for the retrieval of deleted posts has been tested and it works. Now, we don't expect you to remember specific thread numbers (like tootee-san semi-miraculously did), or even headers - but if you have any recollection of a thread which would deserve to be preserved, point its existence out and we'll do our utmost to get it back.

I really enjoyed the Cavalry thread, over 100 posts long, which held a 50-post arguement on whether HC was useless or not, lots of posts from Maggy and some other high powered players in there, it'd be good to see that agian, shame I don't know the thread name exactly though - I think it was something about 'which cavalry do you prefer' in the topic header...top topic!
