How to tell the difficulty level of a savegame?

Is it possible to check the difficulty level at which a certain game was started. I have a byz. game in progress from a while back, and i simply cant remember if its expert or not....

If you have battle logfiles enabled, open up a log from that campaign and there's a line stating the difficulty level.
