Thanks Ichi, it is valuable and a nice donation.

For example, you can see that V0 Feudals are a better buy than V0 Pronoai

V0 ChivK are a much better by than V0 Templars.

I do agree that it is a nice list and good to look through it, but I do disagree with Dionysus on the ChivK beeing much better than the Templars. Templars are cheaper, not that much, but they are. They only have worse charge bonus, that means if they take the charge without heavy losses, they are as good as chivk. I do like templars at 000, they make a good cav unit that can hold a position for a while against most enemies. So templars are my nr.1 choice to secure a "weak flank", while chiv knights 010 and some billmen, swiss halbs or similar (clansmen 300 can be very nice for that) mop up the other flank [talking about 10k]. As most people prefer symetric armies this tends to work pretty well and even units like spears get their use.

Second, I agree with Bomi that Templars can be quite useful, especially at 10k.

A few other are missing... Alan, Hobilars, Mameluk Cav, Armenian. Those might also be interesting.

The Templars / Chiv Knight debate is also a Ghulam / Armenian debate. 25 fl difference between those 2 muslim cav and -2 charge for the Ghulam.
A 75 fl discount for -4 charge seems to be a fair discount.

If we were playing with much more florin, the difference in fl would grow even larger, with only -4 charge for templars; for v2 templar vs v2 chiv knight; it's 216 fl, for v4 it would be 626.

The 2 charge difference for ghulam vs Armenian is worth 25 fl at v0... but 72 at v2 and 209 at v4. Rather odd that 2 points of charge value get higher... But that's the way the purchase system is designed *shrug*
