http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-computer.gif Hi to all
Is there anyone (or any mod group) out there who is interested in commissioning specific non-strategic maps ?
I just love to create detailed landscapes (if needed as close to historic reality as possible) and would be more than willing to test my skills in the MTW community.
Antalis . http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif I admire your dedication and creativity
If anyone likes to contact me directly please send your mail to djelier@anwb.nl and d.jelier@wanadoo.nl
That way I will at all times be able to respond.

Yes I am looking for any help that you can give...

What type of maps can you do ?

Basic terrain maps - ie Coast of Calais
or could you include castles etc ?

What I am looking for are detailed castle maps, or the basic terrain the castle is located at, and I could create a castle.

Or other detailed maps

ie Typical Brittany
Typical Gascony
etc

If you can help give me a call..... Ive dropped u a line via Email...

ShadesWolf,

I think I've gotten rather good at mapmaking, although I've just learned a few new refinements (thanks PseRameses).
That's the beauty of it. We can always learn and build on each others knowledge.
A detailed true to life landscape is a challenge in it's own right and if you want a specific castle added that can be arranged too. just provide me with the geographical location and if you want the name of the castle you want. There is always the option of editing (fine tuning) it yourself to get actual map to match your mindmap

I would much appreciate if you could work with The map Grell

Hey Dirk,

I am currently working on the Wars of the Roses mod and to add some more flavour I would like to add maps for the famous battlefields. I am particulary interested in Barnet, Tewkesbury, Towton and Bosworth.

I would really appreciate it if you would help with this, especially after seeing those marvellous castle maps you made for the HYW mod.
I do have maps of the sites, so if you need them then I can draw them for you to begin with.

So what do you say?

Cheers, Duke John

Duke John,

I see you're from the Low Countries as well, so we just might just as well use a proper language (he, he, he).
For the benefit of our colleages however we'll continue in English though. Of course I'll help. Battlefield maps are a change from castle maps and offer a whole new challenge. Just let me know how you'd like to approach this. What do you mean with 'I can draw them' ?

In my osprey books I have some nice bird's-eye view maps, but I don't have a scanner (and that would be bad thing to do too http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif ). So I can draw the maps for you so that have a layout of the terrain with heightlines and "prullaria".

They will need to be medium or small maps since the WotR mod is mainly about infantry and the games shouldn't last ages because they need to march 2 miles.

I'll make a new thread, so that we discuss the maps.

Cheers, Duke John
