I ve been playing a campaign for ~100 years now and have had no problem with sons and daughters. Suddenly, my rulers have not had children in 30 or so years. I have made sure they have all been married of course, but just no kids. Now the game might end at no fault of my own. Has anyone else had this problem?? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Sometimes that just happens. You've got three choices:
1) accept it and start over
2) engineer a civil war and side with the rebellious generals - the rebel leader will then become your new king
3) from the strategic map screen type in .unfreeze. You'll get a prince, but it will still take 16 years for him to come of age.

Thanks. I will probably just cheat...although I absolutely hate to do that. No other options really. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif
Hmm I've had the exact opposite happen to me. In my last 3 campaigns I have had 5 or 6 heirs at any given time. I kept getting the screen that said my King's Virility was legendary I had played many campaigns before and never seen it. The factions were Italian, Turks & Aragon.
well, your king..sadly, is a secret fruit...its hard to take it but that stuff happens, the soap drops then BAM...*sigh* http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-gossip.gif
You know what's kind of amusing? My openly gay kings often seem to have more children then the straight ones.
Wonder what that says about those Byzantine princesses I've been marrying.

In one of my earlier campaign two year ago, playing with France, and learning basic moves, my second king don't have any heirs, and after some time, he die and it was game over. What a bad surpise, the first was with reapear.
Now I'm playing with Pope, just to see a little enjoyment without excomunication, it's early era, year is around 1150, and French king don't have any hear, so his kingdom go to rebels. After few years they reapear with few thousad of units in Flanders, but I had two 5 stars assasins, and immediatelly kill their king in second yeaar, so they go again to rebels, bought half of the army with my 2 star emisary, kill the rest of rebels, and continue with conquering the Europe. Right now my spies make a big mess to England, so now I'n concentrating to beat them on the French west provinces.
