heres a proposal for all of you fine fellows.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THINGS GOOD AND PURE, CHANGE THE HIGHLANDER IMAGES
they were warriors not mere peasents. please someone make them look like they did in Braveheart. might not be completely accurate, but they still looked much better. I have no modding skills at all, but from the miracles I've seen performed here (i.e. the chariots in HTW) it should be feasible.
thanks in advance,
Cao Cao

Basicly what Dead Moroz did is that he used Dervish.BIF to represent Highland Clansmen, so they look more appropriate, but dont count on tartan on their kilts. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Without digging out my thesis, let me just say... Highlander is an ambiguous term to define. It tends to be all encompassing, when in fact there were different regional variations even in the highlands.
That being said there were on occasion highlanders of great martial reknowned, but they tended to stay in the highlands pre-1600.
