Sorry I have to post it here, because I am just a new junior patrons who registered to this site yesterday.

And thanks a lot for all those who replied to my question about hardware sound acceleration. What I found on my machine is that turning off all sound acceleration had greatly enhanced my gamespeed. Battle of Hasting no longer lagged

It has to be turn off completely though, as I found that having little bit of acceleration is just the same as having full acceleration. There's just one bit of a downside though. When sound acc is off, the sounds resulting from your a click of your mouse come out like 1/2 second slower. But I guess you can't have it all

As for the AGP problem, I still can't find where the place to adjust the setting. I guess my computer just won't show it. So one more question Because VI has the in-game option to adjust the AGP memory, will buying VI solve my problem? Thanks. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-2thumbsup.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-help.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif

That is good to hear Jms (you're not the JMS of Babylon5 fame are you? ;) ).

As for the AGP setting, is that the BIOS setting? I recall that on some PC BIOS it is called by another name...alas, I can't recall the name though.
