How to Bribe

I have MTW v1.00 installed. I have for more than a year. I have no idea where the manual is (hence i do not play online for i have lost my security code thingy ((doh))but also have no access on how to bribe)

How do you bribe?

Please, please help a needy englishman.

Put an emmisary on the desired army to bribe and a message will pop up asking whether or not you want to bribe them. The cost is included, but it may change when your emmisary tries to bribe the army the next turn or whenever the emmisary gets near the army to be able to bribe it.

Hi.

You bribe by dropping an emissary on an enemy stack. There shall be no king & no prince in the targetted stack. Then the game will tell you the standard price, & ask you if you really want to try...

you do have to pay attention to some V&V's that influences the standard cost. there's moral flexibility and other stuff that reduce cost and things like moral uprightness that increase it.

things to note in the campaign for early, the longbows in wales are a great bribe at 2025 florins and they aren't available until later.

el cid in valencia you should bribe on turn 3-4 as he drops from about 5400 to 3600 and if you try bribing him early, he will get a virtue for 50% extra to bribery cost.

If I remember right mine was on the back of the manual book - it was in a DVD type case as well, not a normal CD case. Be careful though, if the general is really pisses, he can kill ur emissary, it's really rare, but it happens.
