Why you criticize him like that The Sword of Cao Cao?

I like bizarre mod ideas, i myself wanted to make Star Wars mod at some point. If not the crazy ideas ME:TW wouldnt be created.
All i'm saying is that we dont have to make historically correct mods all the time, might be interesting to see something completely not from this world .....

sorry wasnt in a very nice mood when I said that, but I strongly feel if you want to pimp the Horde, use semi-historical units. Like mine http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif the following is a unit, I came up with while reading a National Geographic article on Genghis Khan:

Mongol Man Eaters

Stats-same as Gallowglasses

Bio

The Horde of Tartarus is unequalled in both strength and brutality. When they have taken thier enemies house they do indeed live up to the Mongol standards of pleasure srt down by the great Khan himself - by watching thier enemies drenched in thier own blood as they embrace thier wives and daughters before them. Then.... eating them.

Medieval historians really did believe the Mongols to be cannibalistic and this unit would not also be fun IMHO, but a good reason to give the Mongols a decent swordsman unit.

any improvements on thier name, stats and bio is welcomed.

AFter this we do not know what happens to the family. Some say they are somple killed and burried in a ritural to the Great Khan but others say its more grossim...other say that they EAT their victims, some alive

I got no idea for a name.

maybe call em
Horde of the Tartaru?
Mongol Hell Core?

also make them elite casue think about it, if they kill so many people they can look death in the face. therefor when there allies died, they could care less. so they shouldnt be bothered while peasents are retreating.

Ermmmmmmm,
No idea what happened there hit cntrl by accident then went to higher case and boom the text's up there.
However if you do want to add a few new units for the Mongols. BKB's mod made some good suggestions, without actually incorporating them. The khan's army was also ravaging Sung China, Korea and everything between there and Europe. Accounts of War with Khanate armies, tell of thunder bombers, Chinese Spearmen. (Genghi and Subsequent Ming use of them influenced the Japanese Yari style Spearmen)There is also evidence of Korean troops and Auxilaries, Chinese Archers and Crossbowmen. Not to mention the huge absorbtion of East European opportunists. (Those who realised which side there bread was buttered on and rode with the Horde) Steppe Cavalry and Heavy Steppe Cavalry being its Generic name. More accurate representations of these could be, The Khan's Pecheneg Cavalry. I think some Pechenegs fought for the Khan as did Khazarian's but Id have to check on it. Still pick any Mounted peoples or Warrior tribes from absorbed area's and you could assume levies were raised at some point. At least they'd be semi-historical. As far as The Maneaters goes this refers to a pagan ritual not a troop type i.e a bit like the Blood Eagle-ing of the Viking's. I'll just assume I don't have to recount this horrific ritual. Although accounts back up this event, it does not seem, that this practice was prevailant. But made gruesome and effective propaganda when raising troops. Remember when WW1 started our troops were told that, the Germans had been eating French and Belgique babies. Which it was realised was a bit of an out dated claim, and slipped under the carpet of history. Ok a long reply. But anything's better than working.

In reply to what is BKB's mod. "It's The Blind King of Bohemia's" (Forum Name) Mod. It Can be downloaded at The.Org from the Download\medievel files\ mods and add-ons. More accurately its BKB's Super Early mod. Its Super's up your Early start pos and adds lots of new factions and units. Its still at the Beta testing stage and has a few glitches. i.e a few missing images, some of the ingame text for the New factions has got mixed up i.e The Navarese and the Bohemian' appear to inherit each other lands on the death of there King but this doesn't actually happen in the game. Super High is only days away so we are told and this should resolve some of the probs in Super Early. It could/should also contain new units for the Mongols (from STW:WE). MTW:STW mod, also contains Chinese style units you could borrow i.e Japanese Yari or some of the Mongol units if the're in there.
