View Full Version : Trade display
The other day I accidentally struck the keyboard while checking out one of my provinces. I had the right-side parchment diplaying the province details, and then I got a left-side parchment listing all the active trade deals running with remote provinces, and how much the takings for each route were. But I don't know how I did it and would like to get it back, can anyone help?
Q2: are there any other info parchments?

Hi squippy
Right click the Province and left click the Icon
for Economy. Works only with Provinces who actually trade.
Or left click the Economy Icon and then select the Province
you want detailed Info of.
Cheers
Hmm, I thought I tried that, but maybe I had moved the focus to a non-trading province. I'll check it out, thanks.
Yea you get a list of every trading route, so there can't be any Enron-like dealings. I've actually found it useful, since there don't seem to be many uses to trade with the African countries, but actually they don't have almost any of the goods found in central Europe, so you do a lot of trading with them.

Weird thing last night that I've never seen, probably because I'm not looking close enough. Playing as Aragon, and have a port in the province of Aragon. Italians are building a trade empire, and when they link to Aragon, they start importing silk. I open the province list, and it says '7' for the trading income for Aragon. Then when I open the trade sheet for Aragon, it says '4' for the imported silk.
Does it list the 'raw' (no governor modifiers) income in the trade sheet, and the modified income in the province list?
Another tip on the Province Patchment.
If you click on the province, and then move the mouse the border, you can get an idea of what terrain you will fight in.
A good way to prepare your invading forces.
I tried the advice above but cannot get any results. WIth a trading province selected, I have right clicked, left clicked, middle clicked, alt-clocked, ctrl-clicked, on the Economy button and I do not get the trade breakdown parchment. I have also selected the Economy display, and then selected the province, but all that happens is the economy parchment gets replaced by the province parchment.
Anyone know a key combo? Any other advice?

I have to check this back home but,
are you sure that the selected province activly trades
with another? (this may sound silly as that is what you want to find out) If it's not then you simply get the province parchment again as you described.
The sea route can be controlled by pressing "v". Now make sure there is a route from your port/trading province to another port (you know all this, do you?).
Now I left click on the economy parchment and select the Province. Your monitor should show the province parchment on the right and the economy on the left.
Works well for me, but I'll check this at home and see if I remember correctly.
Cheers

Yah, when looking at the economy parchment, left clicking on the province name should bring up a trade breakdown.
Im pretty sure right clicking the merchent building icon in a province (provided one is built of course) brings this up also.
Yep, it was left-clicking the province name in the Economy parchment that did it, thanks people.

Hey squippy
Glad you've found it again.
I was so sure it was there.
