Why cant i play multiplayer :(

I bought the total war battle pack or whatever... v. 2.01 (the latest I think)

But gamespy won't let me join games... It just says i have the wrong version, map, or startpos files... which shouldnt be

Once you install VI, be sure to download and install the patch v2.01. While you are at it, be sure to download the latest mappacks, oh and don't forget the Community Mod from Mizus

Only a very few are using the community mod right now, so if you can't get in to ANY games that wont solve the bigger problem.

In your first post you mention that you bought the latest pack, but have you installed the 2.01 patch (found at most sites)?
