All right I added a 0 to every troops cost in the game and it is working wonderings for me. I get the perfect size battles for my self more often then not.

Anyway I added a 0 to crusades aswell, now I've been through a campaign up to 1247 (as the Byz) and there has not been 1 single crusade. What price do you think would be resonable compared to the other troops price? I mean I dont want 90 million crusdaes in one camapign but a few would be nice.

With Medmod, the price is set at 4000. This means a wave of crusades in the begining and few afterwords.

The best compromise I would think is to cost 3000 so it is still afordable for the AI, but to lower the priority or whatever so they won't all rush to build one at the very start of the game.

Kawliga is right on. 3000 is good although I would say perhaps 2500. You should definately change the probability of troops appearing though as that would create more units in a crusade so that it's balanced. 10k for a crusade would be prohibitive as the AI doesn't know how to penny pinch and conserve but builds anything it can.
