Last night I was playing a game as the English and my first king got to be 66 years old. My second king also became 66. What???? I´ve never seen them grow older that 57 years. I´ve pics but don´t know how to post them. Is this a feat of WesMod that I´ve installed? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-stunned.gif

Really? Heck, I've seen some Kings who got well into their 70s.

Honestly, I wish they would just die already. A 70 year old king usually means 45 year old heirs, and a very good chance of the entire next generation becoming king then dying of old age before the grandchildren are old enough to take over.

Then burn/assassinate your own king. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-2thumbsup.gif

are you using the patch (2.01)? If you are, then it isn't rare that Kings become older than 57. I've had Kings who've gotten to 80. I once had a King who got to 103 years of age. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

My first king of the english got to the ripe old ages of 86, was a magnificent builder/steward, expert attacked, skilled defender, butcher, scant mercy, naturl leader, great warrior and horrifically scarred.

He was great, first king aswell so led me into many, many victories.

THe only problem was his heirs got born early, while his stats were low, so they were ribish, moment my king died, (un)Civil war

Yup, I am. It´s just that I never ever saw this. Maybee it happened before but I just didn´t notice. That´s one of the things I just love with this game. You play it year in and year out and still find surprises. Thumbs up C.A http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif

My current Novgorod Prince is 71, but he is looking pretty bad. I'm guessing he'll go anytime soon. I've had some kings live into their 80s myself.

The best thing to do then is have him fight right at the front of the battle. Or if you don't want to risk losing a lot more troops, send in only his unit http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif If he takes on a whole army, then good for you. If not then you get succession.
