Hi MadMac welcome to the org http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-smile.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

I'm not even sure where to start on this one, so i reposted for you in the Apothecary, hopefully someone will come up with something in there. You can take a look Here (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=2;t=15730;r=1;&#top) for any responses they come up with.

Yeah, I've been trying to get MTW: VI to work on wine for a while now. No luck. If anyone knows how, I would appreciate it a lot too.

i think some registries must be added to user.reg
if someone could check windows registry and give me main enteries like 'instalpath', 'program', 'save path', 'installcd' or something like it, maybe i'll be able to run MTW.

Have you got WineX ?

I'll be curious if you can get it working. You will need DirectX support.

yes, it's winex
i run few games which require directx like Diablo 2, Starcraft, Quake 3. But they all need enteries in user.reg.
Maybe this is a reson why i can't run Medieval.
