Yes looks good. But the description specifically mentions lorica hamata (correct for the period) - yet the figure wears lorica segmenta - and really looks more like a Trajan era legionary than a Marius era one.
Oh well, I'm sure this was done to meet popular expectations of what a legionary looked like.
Barkhorn.

Odd. The art for this legionaire seems a step down from the previous three. The helmet and details on the others look more resolved and handled better. Specifically the neck-guard on the back of the helmet looks much better on the Triarii than on this new guy. I was expecting him to look a bit better than the soldiers in the early screen shots I've been seeing.
Still hoping for reworked/modeled horses.
Well then, shingen, this will please you.
Taken from a post by The Shogun at the com, about the very same issue.

See time to be happy.
The description calls his armour chainmail? It's mail armour but not chain mail. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Yeah I saw that but it calls the Lorica Hamata chain mail which anyone that's seen a chain at least could guess is wrong.

THe lorica hamata is chain mail. It's simply that the description which is a relayively good one for a Marian period legionary does match the image, whci h have been noted looks like A late first century AD soldier.

Wow, somebody beat Barkhorn to it. Seems like somebody else has pitched a tent on their doorstep to usurp his place. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
