I left RUM on my way to a crusdae location. Adesia i think. I go to Adeisa but on the next to my army is defending RUM wtf i left rum?

if this is the case and u have to stay thats gay, just like how factions get to see ur moves before they go.

was rum invaded with a larger force from the province you moved to? When two armies cross-invade, the smaller army always falls back to defend it's start province.

The smaller? I thought it was always the player the one who had to defend.

- note that i said cross-invade. On the same turn: 3000 man army in province A invades province B. 3001 man army in province B invades province A. The battle will occur in province A, since their army was smaller, regardless of which army is the player's or the AI's.

yes theres was bigger.

thats not fair lol we should have just swaped provinces or fought on neutral ground and the winner could advance to its newly acquired province.

Not fair is a bit harsh... There is no neutral ground in the game and what else could you do? Imagine if every time you tried to invade a province with a massive army it was replused by a couple of enemy units and you where forced to defend.. I thisnk it is a perfectly fair way of doing thing, and it will place the smaller army on the defensive which will even things out a little.

I dunno about this, I have launched invasions (specifically against Egypt and the Almohads) where I have a much larger force than theirs. They retaliate by moving their smaller force into the province I just left and taking it in an eye-for-an-eye thing. Example: My force of over 2500 invades Tripoli from Palestine (I think that's right) instead of fighting me in Tripoli, they just marched their troops into palestine and took it, while I took Tripoli. Is this a bug maybe?

Are you using VI 2.1 or MTW 1.1?

- do you keep 'show enemy moves' on? Possibly they moved troops from palestine to syria, and troops in syria to tripoli, or even moved troops into tripoli via the sea or other routes. The example i gave in earlier post is _only_ for cross invasions on the same border. Troops from other borders won't count for deciding where the battle takes place.
