Hashishin in MP

Hi all
I read a lot about Turks & Hashishin this morning and now wonder if the Hashishin and other concealed units are really not visible to the Enemy.
In sP Custom if I provide the AI with Hashishin I'm always able to see 'em.
No cheats applied and everything turned on. Xpert blabla.
In Shogun MP though you only see little shadows of Battlefield Ninjas even when they move and you can only attack them when you're near them.
How is that in MTW MP?

They are to weak, and way too expensive.

Funniest are the people who use them as generals (you cant hide a general).

But no, they really are invisible.

the AI probably moves them around, it takes about 5 seconds I think for them to conceal after moving.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe they are visible only when they move or when they shoot. After about 5 sec of not doing either, they will disappear again.

This might be useful in limited situations, but as others have said the unit is expensive and small, so it would be tough to build an army that relied heavily upon them. I use them occasionally in fun games. Another fun unit is to bring a couple of cats to a 4v4 steppe battle and go bowling.... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-dizzy2.gif

Hashis are visible only when they move or shoot. If you look closely you can see little puffs of smoke from their pipes. (j/k)

Same as with Welsh bandits. Only that they smoke after the battle's over.
