Nemesis of The Roman Empire

Hi all.
Wasn't sure if it was appropriate to talk about other RTS games here, but I thought this was one worth a gander.

Anyone besides me played the demo to Nemesis of The Roman Empire yet? RTS set during (surprise surprise) the Punic Wars. The demo was kinda neat...there's a little bit of RPG-style character development with your heroes(generals), and the AI seems pretty tough.

The battles aren't as big as MTW's, for sure, but maybe this game will hold some of us over until RTW arrives

I saw the demo but decided not to download it. I've seen too many horrible RTSs so I never download a demo to one unless I hear good stuff about it. By your description perhaps I will Download it later.

Russian, it is okay to post such topics here for the benefit of new patrons. The Entrance Hall is a catch-all of sorts for the Junior Patrons. The better place to post things on other games is in The Arena forum.

well i dont know, havent tried the demo but i tried the earlier game. Celtic Kings AND i did not like that one so.. well nemesis of the roman empire is a crappy title anyway :p

I found Celtic kings to be good so I am dl this one now

I tried this one a little while ago and found it pretty fun but the strategic resources are lacking I mean it is all pretty much automatic and it is only gold and food http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif but it is a pretty good game
