I think there are either a key to do this in game or there are mods

Oh, there's a console command for that if I remember rightly. You should check the whole list at the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Page. It's a wiki, very very helpful. :beam:
Yup, I set the screen that way, (you need to detach yourself from the charecter, to get a free camera, not possible otherwise) so that I could get the ceiling too, wanted to have Pelinal and Umaril, both in my screen. You know, Divine Crusader on the ceiling and another one below :2thumbsup:
The name, I wanted to change it to something else, but I made a mistake in hurry, and it seems that it's not possible to change names willy-nilly, so I guess I'll just have my country's name for a while now.

My guess is that it's the inventory screen.
Absolutly, took that one in the inventory screen. Detached the camera, floated up to a point, opened the inventory screen, disabled the hud, so that the menu vanished and only the charecter preview remained.

You know, the Diablo 2 battle chest with Diablo 1, Diablo 2, and Diablo 2: LOD is maybe only $15 in the states so you can probably get it very cheaply if you really feel the urge to play the game again
Edit: Really? $40? When I got mine maybe 5-6 years ago, I can't remember paying more than $20 for it. Maybe I'm just misremembering though.....

Yeah, it went to about 32 after that. They forced my hand, I tried to only get two provinces but they wouldn't take that. So, I decided to crush them probably not the best idea.
Nice. When war finally breaks-out you can take Gibraltar and stop those pesky British navies, (mostly).
Funny, I'm doing exactly the same campaign as you. Invading Spain as well, they joined the Allies and I was hoping to push to Gibraltar. My invasion didn't go as well as yours though. I'm just beginning to withdraw. A counter-attack in Africa is forcing my hand, and I can't afford to keep troops from that front. They keep piling men onto the front, and I'm removing them to cover loses in Spain. I just hope Germany doesn't be stupid and invade Russia, or Japan USA in the coming days/weeks/months. :boxedin:

I've decided to invade the Balkans, if I can manage that. The Ottoman Empire was just at war with Russia and lost badly, so we'll see how that goes. My navy is pretty much nonexistent at the moment.
Here is my Germany game, I fired the "form Germany" event manually, because well...Germany are just cooler than a small state :beam: My current King has a rubbish Diplomacy stat so it's gonna take a long time to get my reputation back to a decent level, past experience makes me want to steer clear of going over the limit, especially with the Austrian giants all around me...
And yeah, that is Spain in St Petersburg, they have been more than a tad crazy in this campaign...

This view is now unavailable to me forever, as immediately after this i blew the planet up, along with the colony i had in Africa and a small number of bizarre animals i'd made and dumped on Earth. No real loss. Most of them had legs growing out of their heads, and the arms growing out of these legs. They also had multiple limbs. Growing from each other. A true testament to procedural animation.

Was getting a bit bored as British India, so I decided to test how far I could go stomping people before someone else would intervene. Even despite what must be a massive BB rating, my military strength in combination with my satelites(Tibet, Afghanistan, and Annam), as well as having the UK at my back, apparently has basically given me free run thus far.

About 30 or so atm. I've been trying to butter up the Persians into an alliance to help secure my northwest flank, but they keep refusing the defensive alliance even though we're consistently at 160+ relations. :wall: So ya, been occupying a lot of my diplomatic points with them, unfortunately.

Latest game of HoI2:DD I've played with 1933 mod. Just joined the Axis and have finished cleaning up the Balkan Allied nations(Greece and Bulgaria). Germany has all of Spain(except Portugal), France, and as you can see is making pretty good gains in Russia. They've nearly captured Moscow, we'll see how far they get before winter.

EU III: In Nomine.
Started in 1399 with the Huron. Conquered the Iriquois right off the bat, then jetted straight for centralization and innovative-ness. Got lucky with a 8 administration ruler when Portugal popped into the area in about 1510 or so. Westernized to Latin tech group in said ruler's reign(small nation, easy to get restabilized :wink:) Unfortunately, he passed a couple years after complete westernization and was replaced by a complete numnutz who got the inept ruler trait for the last 7 years of his reign, on top of having terrible admin, meaning I had to wait longer to reform to a noble republic. However, he died and was replaced by another quality administrator(7), and I reformed to Noble Republic. Still haven't actually been attacked by a European power. After a while, I gathered a fairly large army, smote the Castillans out of the American NE, the Appalachians, and Virginia.

Yah. What you can't see in either of those shots is that the Ottomans actually seized Cuba from the Castillans. Also, France looks monstrous as well. I'd really rather they war with each other and see the carnage.
Right now, I'm thinking of trying an attack on Portugese holdings in North America. Half of their provinces don't have forts, and the ones that do only have a level one. Mine are all at least 4's on the borderlands. :evil:
I always find I have to restrain myself and not colonise anywhere and everywhere in EU. Really weird if you bring the game over to Vicky afterwards, all the weird colonies everywhere. My current Prussia game in EU II I took most of the West African colonies off of Lithuania of all countries.

HOI2, 1944 Scenario, Germany. The green lines depict ideal defensive lines, I have to trade space for time and reinforce my depleted divisions. Hopefully I can cause the Allies to over-extend themselves and then undertake a counter-offensive and encircle their divisions. In the East I'm relying on a miracle. I can't do anything there until I have pushed back the Allies from firstly France and then mainland Italy.

The utlra-nationalist party declared the American west coast to be core provinces, and I was able to grab California in one of the last wars with Mexico.
Then it got even more bizarre. My alliance with the US ran out just before the civil war broke out, but they asked me to either join as a state(riiiiiiight ~:rolleyes:) or to ally with them. I did ally, forcing a declaration of war. The game asked if I wanted to ask the French to join. Thinking "Sure, why not? End this sooner". Of course, I was hoping to batter the confederates western border, hopefully seize Louisiana and its precious sulfur resources, and expand my prestige further. However, when the French joined the war, they took primacy in negotiations. And, apparently, they were uninterested in the war for the most part. They achieved a peace treaty with the CSA, resulting in both myself and the USA to achieve peace with them as well! The only price was a couple provinces in Missouri, which went to America. I was heavily annoyed, as I'd occupied Louisana and a good chunk of both Arkansas and Alabama, and got nothing. However... this means the CSA has survived the civil war. Not sure how this'll play out. :sweatdrop:

It is the FoW. Light Grey is the provinces khaan can see into, and dark grey are those he can't see into (Because they are not adjacent to the province his troops are in.)
Speaking of Victoria: Rev + VIP, before I saw your image, I had the idea of posting a screenshot with the events fired of the CSA's victory in the Civil War on Vip. Which is quite rare, considering its VIP.

Wow. I really liked Eu II and planned to try out EU III, but the map is like, really austere. There's like, nothing but a few numbers.
I know this is a gestion game and all, but at least EU II had some fancy stuff, like small characters beating on each others, cities burning and what not. Don't think I could play a game with such a blank map.

More odd turns of events. I decided to intervene in Panama, so as to take the future site of the canal. The result was a somewhat protracted war with Columbia, though I was never in a much trouble. Eventually, I managed to occupy every meaningful province, demanded three provinces on the isthmus, and turned Columbia into a satellite. I followed this with another war against two-province to the north(Costa Rica). I annexed them to give me a source of coffee, as well as to provide a nice buffer for Panama. I continued my march northward into Nicaragua, occupied them with little wasted effort, and turned them into a satellite. Satisfied, I returned my army onto its transports and withdrew back to the homeland.
This ratcheted my BadBoy score up to around 40. Great Britain, apparently not liking my imperialist goals, declared war to head off my fledling Texan Empire. However, they got more than they asked for. My allies, the USA and France, joined me in defense. I sent armies running through and overwhelming the small British garrisons in Belize, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and the Leeward islands. I even managed to sail an army to seize one of their isolated colonies in Africa. America, meanwhile, ran up the Canadian west coast, in addition to seizing Trinidad and Tobaggo, and Bermuda. France, meanwhile, absorbed a heavy, frontal assault in Normandy for over a year. In the end, the US would succeed where I could not- they negotiated a treaty in primacy of myself. I would receive Jamaica, the Bamamas, and Belize, which I was quite thrilled with. America got British Columbia, Trinidad, and Bermuda. France and Britain would achieve a separate peace over a year later.
Following my victory against the British, I finally was able to turn my attention inwards- Mexico had been reduced to two, isolated provinces. With their only ally being Guatemala, I declared war on the mexican government, annexing them with little effort. Following a mobilization, I went into a war of attrition with Guatemala- the harsh terrain took its toll on my forces, but in the end, the Guatamalans could simply couldn't match my forces. I took Flores, which completed my control over the Yucatan province, and turned Guatemala into a satellite as well.
To complete my control over the territories of Mexico, I traded two techs, the african colony I took from the british, and about 200k pounds to France in exchange for their three provinces in Mexico.
As for the CSA:

I'm not sure quite what happened. At some point between my conquest of Panama and the British war of agression, war must have broken out or something between the US and CSA. The US weren't strictly my allies(they guaranteed my independance, hence why they caim to my aid against the British), so I wouldn't have been asked to join the war. Regardless, the CSA totally folded, giving complete control of the south back to the US.

Well, let's give credit where its due- this campaign sinks right off the bat without a boatload of help from the Yanks. Whether it was them battering the Mexican lines and causing immense war weariness, or lending me armies far larger than I could have ever hoped to train, they absolutely were the driving force behind my early success. The French helped later on, but only marginally compared to the US efforts. And against the Brits, I didn't have to do a lot- I had a successful naval battle in which I turned back a good number of transports, but that just required a few men-o-war. The French took the brunt during that war(and ultimately emerged less battered than the Brits).

Well, this is my current progress in EU3, one of my first games, I'm about the only nation with more than 4 provinces that is protestant so you may understand why I have few allies etc.

It also seems I can't have more than 6 centres of trade, set a few more for the auto trade function but it didn't do anything. My goal for now is to form Germany and there are just two provinces(and 50 years to get them as cores) to go to unlock the decision, getting them without getting pounded by all the major factions, however, is the problem.

There's a thing the zombies have: Overwhelming numbers.
Obviously I can't be killing them all at once. When someone happens to get too close to me, they get to see how tasty the butt of my rifle is.

The basic guideline of the game is "When in doubt, shoot." I heard what seemed like a zombie sound from the other side of the door so...I shot. Whereas most of the time, it is nothing...This time, I was right. :P

As you can see in the wall, I sprayed all my bullets against an incoming horde of zombies, coming up the stairs. As I'm low of graphics, the bodies disapear after a handful of seconds. What you see there is one of the zombies which came last in the marathon.

I was trying on teh' god cheat when I took those screenies. But it was in expert though.
EDIT: Never finished a campaign in Expert. Only in Advanced so far. I must say it's much more fun in Expert or Advanced since I barely manage to survive through the end of the level.

Expert takes a lot of determination and "Monk /VehoNex / Crazed Rabbit" Stubbornness. You WILL die, its just are you gonna quit or are you gonna pound it into your head that you can do this and suffer through 30 reloads on the frustratingly lame "Sewers" of No Mercy. :furious3:
On No Mercy my teams (Me and my friends) usually reach the part where I took the photo with the minigun very badly treated. Afterwards its normally the horde after pressing the switch that kills us. After 1/2 reloads, I'm tired of constantly wandering the very same places and leave.
I must say yesterday I had the most emotional game ever on advanced. Blood Harvest. The level before the Finale was ridiculously insane with never ending hordes. Then boomers spawned like crazy and we were puked like 5 times on the house just before the safe house. One of my friends died while fighting those endless hordes and the rest of us were badly mauled. After we got rid of those hordes, we headed to the safe house in a train in a bridge and to our dismay, there was a witch right in front of the :flower: safe house door. I remembered that my friend had dropped an assault rifle when killed (I ran out of ammo while killing zombies in the house). He said he had little ammo, but didn't remember how much. So we went back for the assault rifle. After I got the rifle, it only had like 60 bullets and immediatly a horde hits once again. I basically wasted everyhting that assault rifle had in the horde, afterwards another boomer puked on another friend of mine, triggering yet another horde. Needless to say, we left the house in even worse condition than in which we returned to it (We all had red HP). So we tried our luck to sneak past the witch (Which is obviously impossible, considering she's right next to the door.) So one of my friends triggered the witch and was obviously killed. Afterwards, we managed to kill her and entered the safe house. Most of the finale went smoothly until the first tank killed one of my friends. Afterwards our HP steadily went downhill. We (Me and a friend) barely managed to get to the rescue armored vehicle (We had like 5 HP each), while the other friend still alive got stuck in the final horde (We were already in the vehicle shooting at everything that approached the vehicle) and as soon as he was incapacitated, the doors closed and we won the damn campaign. Woo! That was a good game.

How curious, I had no idea there was a group of that on steam.
I rarely play on the net since I play on a lap-top which wasn't made to play games. As a consequence my games are already very laggy as they are while offline (Especially in outdoors places, even more so when the horde attacks in said outdoor places), how much more in online, due to ping and connection problems. I play with my friends on LAN usually.
No wonder I got "Oooh! Shiny graphics for L4D! They feel so smooth!"

So, a little background- after having secured my position so nicely in the Americas, I found myself increasingly bereft of basic necessities- coal primarily. Since its VIP, I still had peace treaties with most of the people in Africa that the programmers put in. In a near simultaneous group of events, I was able to invade what is now Nigeria(once 1885 had passed), annexing two smaller tribes and obtaining myself glorious, glorious coal and timber, in addition to setting up colonies on three different pacific island chains. Unfortunately, my grab at Africa unsettled the Euros. At various points, I have been at war with Germany(managed to defend myself and grabbed a few of their African colonial buildings while they were in the process of being built), but otherwise settled for status quo. My old buddy, France, also attacked, but once again, I was able to fend off the attack. Then, finally, my old nemesis, the Brits, attacked once more. I seized Togo in the war. A while passed, somewhat uneventfully. And then, three days after the peace treaty expired, they came AGAIN. I'm not sure if they've just been this adventurous all game long, but I got fed up. With the US on my side once more(they guaranteed my independence), I occupied the last of their west African possessions near Togo. Then, brazenly, I send a scouting fleet into the channel- a meager fleet, and not an army in sight at the time. I jump on the opportunity, leading to this...

Following the war against Britain, almost immediately I might add, the Yanks decide to remind me just who's in charge on this continent. Praying, I sent an envoy to the US, offering a white peace, hoping their war weariness(they'd been fighting France for a long time following France's DoW on me previously) would work in combination with my fierce last lines of defense would convince the Yanks to accept. Miraculuously, they accept and I lose only face during the war. :sweatdrop:

LOOONNNNGGG game... But damn it was fun. About 20 min in they controlled most of the map except the south side, and there was a constant arty to my team mates base. I soon got out jagdpanther and pushed back on both sides. At the end of the game where my team mate and I came back from the brink they kept saying we didnt have the bragging rights because it wasnt a vp game. And only real people play vp matches. BAHAHAHAHAHA sore losers. Ima post some in game shots from that match later.

I am sorry, Meneldil, for taking so long to answer. I haven't played as France or the US much. However, a little browsing has informed me that the Paris Commune is NOT playable directly. However, the Paris Commune IS an event that triggers for France in 1871. France is given the options of either kicking them out(which triggers an increase in rebelliousness), negotiate(which results in loss of prestige and cash), or to let them into the government, which results in le Parti Ouvrier Français becoming the ruling party of France.
EDIT: and I still have nothing on the Manhattan commune.

EU III: In Nomine, with the Magna Mundi Mod. Started as Bohemia, and wow...

Magna Mundi sure makes the HRE a lot more difficult to deal with. I've had more than one occasion where I've been brought to the brink of the abyss by Imperial sanctions that sapped my taxes and manpower. However, I've scraped, fought, and kicked my way into promince in eastern Europe, with some help from my legal inheritence of Mecklenburg(who had unfortunately lost Lubeck, the CoT, to the Danes previously. Lubeck has since been the center of hilarity as it continually rebels against the Danes/Scandinavians, who keep trying to futiley put it under heel). Currently am allied to Russia and Ukraine, along with a vassal or two in the HRE. My two big concerns for halting my eventual creation of Germany are Burgundy and Austria. Burgundy somehow survived the inital phases of the game, and now hold a lockgrip over the periphery of France. I managed to beat Styria, the proto-Austrians, into submission and drove them southwards, but Austria has since formed, regrouped, and still presents a considerable danger to my southern border as the Emperor. In the north, Denmark inherited BOTH the Norwegian and Swedish thrones, and thus created Scandinavia. They have just recently guaranteeed my independence despite my being a general jerk.
But perhaps the most interesting thing thus far...

Thing is, in 1500, I was still the only protestant country. Only in 1506 Burgundy became protestant, and the two of us were hated by the rest of the world. I think Terra Nova is bugged in that respect.
I'm now playing with MEIOU, as I find Magna Mundi to be way too tedious sometimes. Still France, as I'd like to finish a game with that country before moving onto another one. MEIOU is in some respect bugged as hell, but I like it so far.

My EUIII MEIOU game, as France. My empire isn't that interesting, I'm slowly uniting France (who starts with a handful of provinces, most of the modern days country being owned by a dozen of other nations), and grabed most of Portugal through a couple of wars. I think I'm #1 prestige-wise, but Castille is not far behind.

What is interesting is the state of England. It managed to conquer most of Scotland and Ireland, and was probably the biggest threat to my kingdom. 4 years earlier, the English waged war on Scotland (whom I had force-vassalized). I decided to help my vassal and declared war on England. Despite the fact I somehow defeated the english navy (at the start of MEIOU, nations can only build cog, and galley at naval 2, thus england doesn't have such a huge advantage navy-wise), the first two years were terrible. I think I lost something like 100K men. My manpower collapsed and I was left with around 15K men defending Scotland, when Castille (my ally) attacked England and took most of Ireland.
Poor english then went bankrupt, after what an event triggered, causing Norway and Sweden to declare war on England.
Nationalists rioted in Cornwall (sp?), Wales and Mann, and will probably appear in Northumberland fairly soon. The english king is left with 0 men, 2 cogs, and his territory invaded by roaming hords of French, Scots, Swedes, Norses and Spaniards.
So after looking at all the screens of EUIII in this thread for quite some time, and with a serious need to get things off my mind over the weekend i bought EUIII - Complete and dove in. I have to say, it's a really satisfying experience once you get the grip of things. I haven't tried any mods yet mainly because I am still getting the hang of vanilla, but what I see so far I love. :book:

Uniting the smaller Russian states was, at first, just a fool's dream as Muscovy and Tvar had both grown powerful early on. Through a mix of shady business that has earned me quite the bad reputation I forcefully annexed every Russian state I could, with the exception of Pskov which Lithuania (current ally) beat me to. I'm engaged in a bit of a Cold War with the Golden Horde, the true power on the steppes, after the last war I fought against them and their Ottoman allies ended in a minor defeat for me. That light green is an Ottoman satellite outpost, taken from me in the war. :shame:

I've been holding off, however, as -- aside from not having had much time to play games until the last week or so -- I'm extremely leery about playing any type of real-time strategy game. I know it's not supposed to be a twitch-fest like the Command & Conquer series, but I still really like to take my time with stuff and not feel hurried.

My first games were actually with England and then France, both met with terrible disaster as I had no idea what I was doing! The fact that my first succesful game happened with a russian faction is a bit funny, i admit. :beam:
EUIII is a beast of a game, it's one that has sucked up a lot of my free time, when people say that it offers hours of gameplay they aren't kidding... Games can potentially span five centuries, and lemme tell you my current game is only just now after six days of solid play even coming close to hitting 100 years.
However, it's also a game that is both incredibly deep and easy to get into. I bought an electronic edition (no manual) and was still able to learn it after a few evenings of tinkering. If you want to think of it in terms of comparisons, think of it as Total War with about fifty other things to worry about and no turns involved. :laugh4: The latter can be both an advantage and disadvantage, but there's a number of speed options (as well as a pause where you can still issue orders) that help with the fact that there are no turns.
If you like empire builders I highly recommend it, especially for only ten bucks! However I also recommend you have the time to devote to it. Sunday I sat down and intended to play only a little bit. I ended up playing for four hours. :wall: I really enjoy the game so far, and I haven't even had the courage to leave "normal" difficulty yet. I might bump up AI aggressiveness on my next go, but for now things are satisfying.
edit: I think the biggest factor in me really having fun with this is the AI. It's really impressed me and I'm only playing vanilla, I can't even imagine how ruthless it is in mods like MM.

Monk- If you like EU III, I would highly, highly recommend getting Victoria: An Empire Under the Sun, and the expansion, Victoria: Revolutions. Quite a bit deeper economically, with the AI being a bit better at domestic management than in EU III. Its a bit more rigid in terms of historical accuracy- its possible to bend history in a big way still, but a lot harder than in EU III. Plus, the end rankings feel like they mean a lot than the prestige factor in EU. Plus, it offers a nice perspective on 19th and early 20th century history, really recreating a highly charged atmosphere between the swelling European behemoths as they vie with each other over resources.

Quite a bit deeper economically, with the AI being a bit better at domestic management than in EU III. Its a bit more rigid in terms of historical accuracy- its possible to bend history in a big way still, but a lot harder than in EU III. Plus, the end rankings feel like they mean a lot than the prestige factor in EU. Plus, it offers a nice perspective on 19th and early 20th century history, really recreating a highly charged atmosphere between the swelling European behemoths as they vie with each other over resources.
However, if you buy Victoria, you WILL fail miserably many many times before you actually succeed doing something good. You'll see your people rise in countless revolts against and you will have no idea why.

It might have been changed in VIP, but I know in regular Ricky Sweden has to pick the Scandinavian surge option at least one of the two times when Denmark gets into trouble with Prussia/Austria events. I think it has a higher chance of firing if Sweden chooses it both times. In both cases, Denmark can't lose Slesvig(oops :sweatdrop:) So, assuming Denmark survives the wars unscathed, the nation with higher prestige created a Scandinavian gov't.

Sorry for the double post, but I started up another VIP game(i'm still going to go through with the USCS, but felt like a different game for now), as Bolivia. First goal- survive without Peru gaining independence. Turns out... Bolivia's got potential. :shocked2:

I've finally gotten a solidly liberal populace, with events that triggered a democratic government. Hoping that fills my badly unpopulated empire in. Been a heck of an interesting game- I narrowly avoided a collapse right off the bat due to a joint Argentinian/Chilean effort against me while my Peruvian populace was getting trigger happy. I got lucky in that the Argentines got hit even worse with rebellion, and I managed to beat them bady enough to gain military access, which I badly needed. Against the Chileans, we stalemated with two 20k forces plugging one province "bridges". With Argentina out, I manuevered the force I used against them around the chilean flank, and tore their forces apart. Took three provinces and turned Chile into a satelite.
After feeling satisfied that the Peruvians were done rebelling, I amied north at Ecuador. Ecuador was pitifully weak- I humiliated them while snatching all but three provinces in the first war. Few years later, I declared war on them again. However, Columbia was allied with them. Ecuador still had no army to speak of since I shattered their last one, and I annexed them. For some reason, columbia's always way too easy to beat, no different this time. I massacred them, took the three provinces which create Panama, took the state that separated Panama from my borders, and humiliated Columbia. To temper by badboy, I granted Panama independence.
Little bit after that, I created a small navy, moblized 100k troops, and dow'd on Korea- Bolivia has ZERO grain or coal. :inquisitive: China was guaranteeing their independence, and came to their aid- however, they were in the middle of the Taipeng war, and couldn't do much meaningful to help Korea. After about 9 months of drag down war, kicking down rebellion after rebellion, and instigating an invasion of mainland China, I finally got the southern two states from Korea, humiliated them, and took the island off of the peninsula. I outmanuevered China's lumbering 150k army that they had finally swung around to Manchuria, straight to Beijing, and took their offer of the island of Taiwan in exchange for peace. Promptly swung a bunch of troops back to Columbia, who I then turned into a satelite with ease.
In other words.... its been a wild ride. :charge:
I'll annex them all then(:evil:) I've had a lot of trouble with rebellions and debt. Good job with Bolivia khaan.

Internal political turmoil is ridiculous, I was cruising with my nice, liberal, democratically elected gov't, with a decisive majority of the voting electorate voting liberal... and then some durned general goes and wrecks my precious democracy in a coup! :wall: There goes my hope of getting mass immigration.
edit: And 56% of my population is Korean, if that gives you an idea of how badly I need that immigrant manpower. :sad:

Having taken a Latin American history class this last semester, that doesn't surprise me in the least. Well, it somewhat does, considering a majority of the pop was voting liberally.

Well, the reason they were voting liberal was because of a cultural tech(ideological thought) that triggers a bunch of modifiers for your populace based on what policies the current gov't has. Plus, the wealthier segments of the population tend to be more liberal(in the classical sense), while the farmers and laborers tend to be more conservative. I had wealth set a requirement for voting, hence only those with decent wealth could vote, hence I had mostly liberal votes. :yes:

I just checked my bb and it's 8.25 not sure how high it has to be to get the bb wars though.
I have 45% Swedish and 43% Danish and some other nationalities. My industry is really suffering :sweatdrop: Do you know what economy types are where the capis build the RRs? Mine atm is Interventionalist, which I thought did build them but they're not.:furious3: I don't like building them myself they're so expensive.
At Interventionism, Capis do build RR's. They just don't build them in Planned Economy. They need less money in Laissez-Faire to build stuff, double of it in Interventionism and double of interventionism in State Capitalism.

Yeah they started building them last night while I was playing. No idea why it took them so long to start though.

As to their finances, I have no idea. However, it seems they are allied with Germany, who has been going ape crazy over in Europe. It seems Iceland was even poorer than Modena and didn't have a fleet or army at the point of invasion. :shrug:

I think the question that's foremost in my mind isn't "how", but "why"? What earthly reason could Modena possibly have for invading & annexing Iceland? I fail to see how they could have any strategic interest there. :dizzy2:

Common Paradoxian behavior. A crappy country get a reason to attack another (ie. Casus Belli) through random events, declare war, send a fleet of 2 ships and an army of 2 infantry/divisions and annex another crappy country on the other end of the map.
Conflicts between Corsica and Athens or Arboreto and another one province blakanic/turkish kingdom is fair game in my EUIII MEIOU game.

Tried a Vicky-Ricky-VIP game as Greece. I'm not very good. Constantly alt-tabbing to paradoxian.org. I managed to steal Crete when the Second Oriental Crisis flaired up, with the help of my British Allies, well they did almost all the work, I just took Crete itself, waiting for my warscore to go high enough then sued for peace.
