first I always choose as a heir of my king for being powerfull, they have always hablities, when one of your heirs has migthy warrior 2 or 3 you must take him, attack the enemy and you must loose all the general troops (ex: he must loose 19 loyal knigth to be alone), then his valour will be high, dont give him troops, if he is not and high ranked general, about 5 stars, win battles with him until he gets xpert on attack and defence, so he gets more strong
when this happens you can send your general alone to kill enemy units (this is more funny on early era) if the valour of your general is over 9 and he is about 8 stars general, he can defeat about 200-300 enemy troops alone and get more valour still, so he become strongher still and he gets another habilities as slayer
i have seen when I use .conan. to spectate how the factions figth, cpu is able to teach my invencible hero another habilities as charismatic leader or better good gobernor and better things thinks
you must not choose the oldest heir because if he becames king he will ends dieing of old, so choose another heir because he will one day become a normal royal knigh so he has still their stats but without die
if you know how to take another interesting habilities plz post here
thanxs

Sorry to say, but this is generally common knowledge (the parts that are correct). Common Knowledge tends to have better grammer and spelling too, no offense.

No worries, I suspect he is not a native English speaker.

And i suspect he is Spanish despite a name as Chinese as Zhuge Liang... Since he is from Vigo...

Good post Zhuge. If I come across anything else I'll let you know. I always find it helps to kill every single prisoner as well. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif erm....maybe thats just because I always do so. could just be me. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

The question is how do you get a heir whos Mighty Warrior never seen that, with the 2.01 patch anyways dont recall if you could get it before.

Mighty warrior and Natural Leader are fairly common amongst my heirs, regardless of nationality. But so are the odd toe crap, envious, pride and most of them are either pedofiles or drunkards. Worst of all is the odd toe thing. Always send whoever royal who gets it into the lonely walk on some remote rebel or enemy infested province. But never learned how to 'make' a Mighty Warrior. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-book2.gif

well, forgive my bad english, you are rigth, i am spanish and i use a chinese nick because i think zhuge liang is the best strategist on all the world and ages
migthy warrior cant be learned, because that i always choose one of the heirs of my king, who always have an hability
when i join rebelds with the code .conan. the cpu learn another habilities to my general, as a nice leader which increases loyalty and happiness of the population and i would know how to get it
your general can learn habilities as expert on attack and defence or assaulting castles easily and when he has over valour 13, if he has all the armour upgrades, battle will end by the end of the 30 min before he dies, good on defence, be carefull the enemy dont attack you with 1000 archers because you could be trouble (if your general is swiss heir you should figth on the wood)

Ok how do your heirs get mighty warrior? The seem to just get great warrior. Apart from hero heirs how is this achievable? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Good grammer huh http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

it's not too hard. I got mighty warriors often. Just make sure your king has maxed out influence and his heirs get good vices too.

Now this is what I call a decent general http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif

http://site.voila.fr/medieval_tw/general_lord_de_la_cerda.jpg

He's an ex-prince with the Famous Warrior, Secret Killer, Pride, and a bunch of other traits.

see this thread by Atilla1: How to Farm Killer Instinct and Trader (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=15;t=15690)
He's done some extensive testing on how to pump up generals.

edit: most of the better +health/+morale virtues tend to occur to royalty. I've never seen the AI "train" his generals to gain these traits.

edit2: having the occasional uber general is fun, but it would be pretty boring if the game were overrun with them. Might as well play on easy and turn off the realism settings then. my .02

How do you know the AI trains his generals as Charismatic Leaders? I had some of these guys myself.

Zhuge_Liang

because after train that generals, i took rebel forces to be spectator and I saw how my general learned that vice
