i enjoy playing my campaign games with huge unit sizes simply for the coolness factor of marching thousands of units around. however, in a campaign game, this means all your units take extra time to build. there's a nice little mod which corrects this problem for 1.1, but as far as i can tell, there's no solution for VI. has anyone made or seen anything along these lines? any info would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm not sure whether there is one, but if you want to, you can mod the files your self, it's a bit of work, but not very difficult.
mod the unitprod file,
1. double the unit size - exlude artilary
2. change the unit stats "sizable" to NO
when play, choose Huge unit size from game meneu.
by doing this you get huge 200/120/80/1 year unit size with stack limit 1920.
However, because the income is the same, you will not be able to creat same number of units as before.
If you want to have as many unit numbers as in default setting as well as having huge size, you need a bit more work:
1. In uintprod file:
double the unit cost - for all
2. In the bulidprod file:
double all building cost
double all income generated by any building (mines etc
3. In the early/high/late startpots file:
double the income generated from each regions
double all income generated from trade items
This will give you a relatively still balanced game with huge size and big numbers.
only problem is that the chance of rebelion is slightly reduced.
hope it help.
one more thing, if you play vs CPU, make sure you use old files, or choose normal size, otherwise it will crash.
