Just a quick post, wondering how many people actually play the original now? I played it when it was released online for a good year and only stopped when MTW was released (I didnt like the online play), so I was wondering how many people are getting on.

Don't think anyone plays the original now...plenty still play MI though.

These are just estimates, based on my observations:

8-12 at peak on weekdays, with prime time being between 7pm -11pm GMT.

10-15 on Saturdays, with prime time being the same. 4-10 off prime, 2 hours prior and 2 hours post.

15-25 on Sundays (the Sam on Sunday event), with prime time the same. 6-10 off prime, 2 hours prior and 2 hours post.

Experienced players from clans Aggony, 7Bear7, Shinkage, and Wolves still play regularly. Ronin from the Masterless/47Ronin also play regularly.

Lately there has been an influx of new players as well. Skill levels range from novice to intermediate, but enthusiasm seems high for all--those who come and play usually end up coming back regularly.

The 1.02 stat is used by 98% of the current players, 10K per player, 4 max no ashi rules are prevalent, but some host non-standard games.

OK run into a problem, went to install but ive lost my original CD case which had the key on it. Typical thing is I have my MI case with the CD key but I cant install that untill I can install the original again :/

So unless someone can help me im buggered.

if I got u right, then u have the original Shogun without Key and the Mongol Invasion with Key?
You don't have a problem
Install the original Shoggy (full install). No Key needed iirc.
Now install MI and enter your MI key under Multiplayer. Done

On the install phase it says you need to enter a key, coems up with white box. You had my situation right tho, I dont have the case with the key on for shogun, but I have my MI key, its bloody annoying :(

You seem to have a different version than me.

I can make a full install without key and when I want to play the CD has to be inserted. Otherwise it won't run. But it's not checking for the Key unless you want to play MP.
So there's no prob for me. Even if I didn't have the org key then I would just install it and install MI over it. MI again is only checking for the CD.

If there's absolutely no way to get around this...PM me. It might be that i have a second key...
