Hi Ketch1. Are you playing MTW, MTW/VI, or Shogun MI/WE?

Most of the time if you get dropped out of sync in a Shoggie game it means that your version does not match that of the host's. Not always though--sometimes it just happens. I only encounter that when I swap statistics from 1.02 to 1.03 or 1.05 and the host is running another patch. If it's a 1.12 player who hasn't upgraded to 1.02 yet, they can't join games that are hosted using 1.02 (they get a network version mismatch error).

I realize the chances are high that you are playing MTW or MTW/VI and not Shogun, but I thought I'd offer this just in case. If you are playing Shogun, download and reinstall the 1.02 patch. This might help (and might not ...).

Hmmmm......out of sync errors usually occur when the stat file on all the players computers don't match in a multi-player game.

Could be several things. Have you modded the game or changed any of the stat files on your machine? If you play a game in single-player, campaign, or custom battle mode and then go directly to multi-player without shutting it down it can also give you sync problems. Game loads different sets of stats for the two modes of play. Tell us a little more about the problem and I'm sure someone could help you figure it out.

As a last resort, you could try removing the game from you computer and doing a clean install.

http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif Welcome Ketch1 and Agravain.

As the others said, could you provide more information like which game, what patches installed, internet connection type, hardware and software specs for your system.

I seem to recall that the single-player-straight-to-multiplayer problem is an issue with STW only, i.e., they fixed the problem with MTW/VI. I could be mistaken though.
