Welcome to the Org, Hakeem928 http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
The basic instructions (there are seemingly a lot here, but don't be frightened of by them) can be read in New? Read this first (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=15;t=5047) topic.
Don't worry, the waiting time to become a member is usually quite short, a week max, so stick around and you'll get promoted very soon.

I think I read somewhere that it helps to have a good post or two to be promoted. Something to get the attention of the moderators. I however am obviously no expert on this due to being a junior patron since March 17th. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif

Good is a very, very loose description. Good does not mean intelligent, nor profound, nor witty. Good simply means express yourself - your thoughts and/or feelings about the topic of discussion. For example, don't just say The Danes are my favourite faction. Instead, tell us why the Danes are your favourite faction. It becomes the basis for a discussion between patrons and allows us to become more aquainted with you.

http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif The Danes are a good faction due to only having one border with a major faction and two rebel provinces which can be taken quickly. They also have the advantage of Vikings which are a quality early era unit.
