Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe there is a Napoleon Mod available.

If so can you please tell mw where I can get hold of it. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-help.gif

Thanks very much.

Good reminder Zack. If you want to still play MTW/VI, copy the MTW folder and rename the copy Nap Mod or something like that. Then install the Nap mod on top of the copy. This will allow you to play to original game and the mod.

As long as you bear in mind it is still a beta, I can't speak highly enough of NTW, I am well taken with it.

I just ran brand new installs for NTW (and Hellenic)in new directories, appropriately named (ie \program files\total war\napoleon - total war) for each to stop me getting confused in the future. Works a treat.

Thanks for all your help, however I have accessed the d/l section as Zack suggested but that doesnt appear to hold the Napoleon Mod. Just Demo, Movie & Patch folders, none of which have the Mod file.

Any other directions would be gratefully accepted.

Thanks

downloads page on The Lordz (http://www.thelordz.co.uk) is Here. (http://www.thelordz.co.uk/Lordzsite/pages/downloads.html)

You want NTW Beta 2 Full Install, Upgrade to NTW Version Beta 2.09 and the map pack as an optional extra.

When you first run the game and select campaign it will appear to only show the standard options (viking, early, high etc), scroll the campaigns down and you have NTW beta 2 and 2.09. Select 2.09 and off you go.

Yes there is a Napoleon Mod.

Napoleonic Total War, and as it's been shown above, the lordz is the place to get it, if you get stuck, just give me a shout via our forums, I can sort you out.

But here's the full installation process you need to follow:

http://www.thelordz.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=409

And via the main page you will find our downloads section which not only has the mod software and latest update listed, but also the NTW Map pack and our custom music pack.

Oh and the words beta release simply means the mod is not finished, it's not completely in a state of solid whole finished pristine oneness.

So expect a few minor flaws is all.

And expect to see the new version in the very near future.

Wish I knew that before. Anyone know how to uninstall ntw without uninstalling total war or the expansion?

Not possibe (or worth It) without going through crippling pains, dont do It. However, just Install MTW VI to a different folder other than your copy of NTW on the Installation screen http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cheers.gif
